SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) ? A Pentagon spokesman says the upcoming arraignment for the self-proclaimed mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks and four other Guantanamo Bay prisoners will be broadcast to six viewing sites at four military bases in the northeast U.S.
A military judge had authorized the arraignment to be broadcast to eight sites at six locations. But not all the viewing sites are ready for Saturday's arraignment.
Pentagon spokesman Todd Breasseale said Monday that families of Sept. 11 victims can view the proceedings at military bases in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Emergency personnel who responded to the attacks can watch from a separate site at the New York base.
Members of the media and the public can watch from two sites at Fort Meade, Maryland.
